Luis de Luzuriaga takes on role as Global CEO

Irvine, USA, July 25, 2018 – BIT is glad to announce that Luis de Luzuriaga will be taking on with immediate effect the role as Global CEO for BIT Group.

It is BIT’s pleasure to announce that Luis de Luzuriaga will be taking on with immediate effect the role as Global CEO for BIT Group. Luis has been with BIT for three months serving as the CEO for BIT USA. Prior to joining BIT USA, he was the GM and Divisional VP of Abbott Hematology and has previously worked for Leica Biosystems, a Danaher company, Siemens and Bayer.

Luis brings a wealth of experience in our relevant industry and throughout the entire value chain. BIT is very pleased to be able to bring him on board and wish him all the best of success for our joint future. Luis will retain his role as CEO of BIT USA and will work out of the Irvine, CA office.

Luis will lead the continuation of BIT’s joint journey to develop BIT to be the most innovative, effective and reliable partner to develop, manufacture and service medical diagnostic devices. To achieve this, he will continue to drive the blue culture and the alignment of cultures across BIT globally. He and the BIT Leadership Team will work together in the coming months to build upon the strategy work started in January.
