Joe Ryan Joins BIT Group as Vice President Business Development

BIT Group introduces its newest Vice President. With a successful background in Business Development and expertise in instrumentation development and manufacturing, Joe Ryan will serve as Vice President Business Development.

Irvine, California, February 17, 2017: BIT Group has announced its newest senior team member; Joe Ryan will serve as VP Business Development.

In his position, Joe will be responsible for introducing life science, medical and IVD instrumentation OEMs to BIT’s contract product development, manufacturing and after-sales services – and thus add to BIT’s global exposure.

Joe Ryan has proven success in Business Development and Key Account Management – as demonstrated by his experience over the past 20 years within the laboratory instrumentation market. Focusing, most recently, on molecular diagnostics and research, Joe has previously established expertise in negotiating global contracts for the development and manufacture of complex optical detection systems, liquid handling instruments and sample management automation within the diagnostic and life science market. Joe has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from The Ohio State University.

In his spare time, Joe is very active in his parish. He volunteers to coach nearly 100 track and field athletes in their middle school. The focus of this program is using a goal-oriented approach to help the athletes grow physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. “The whole-child development philosophy will inspire the athletes to see that success in sports and life involves more than merely winning”, said Joe Ryan “We believe that a child’s mental, spiritual, and social growth is also cause for celebration!”.
