BIT Group to Showcase Innovative Hybrid System Design at AACC
With the first generation of the DRG:HYBRID XL Analyzer now in service, BIT Group will showcase the innovative new product at the AACC Clinical Lab Expo in Houston, TX, USA, July 30-August 1, 2013. The DRG:HYBRID XL Analyzer is the first hybrid analyzer – a fully-automated, random-access analyzer for immunoassays and clinical chemistry.
July 29, 2013: San Diego, CA, USA – BIT Group has now concluded the full product launch of the DRG: Hybrid XL Analyzer and plans to showcase the revolutionary hybrid system de-sign at the upcoming AACC Clinical Lab Expo in Houston, TX, USA, July 30-August 1, 2013. The analyzer, which is now in service by end users, will be part of BIT Group’s “Evolution of the Revolution” exhibit which demonstrates diagnostic system design at its best.
The DRG: Hybrid XL Analyzer‘s innovative and unique technology allows, for the first time, the simultaneous measurement of immunoassays and clinical chemistry parameters including turbidimetric tests in one work routine. BIT Group ( www.BIT-Group.com), a complete contract product development, manufacturing services and after-sales service provider to medical and industrial instrument OEM clients, partnered with DRG Diagnostics to develop the DRG:HYBRID XL Analyzer. Following the system requirements defined by DRG, BIT Group provided the hybrid technology concept and developed the core product idea and industrial design through to engineering, prototype, validation and final production.
The DRG:HYBRID XL fully-automated analyzer is ideal for small and medium-sized labs. It is also suitable for high-workload laboratories performing special routine and niche parameters automati-cally. The analyzer is flexible enough to measure 40 different tests from one sample or just one or two tests from 20 samples. Additionally, the unique concept of the DRG:HYBRID XL allows each user to combine individual diagnostic panels from immunoassays and clinical chemistry.
